You're Early!

TuBon_gRips is still working on this site.

What Even is This?

Nothing much, at the moment. I mean, it's a website, but you already knew that. TuBon has been making music, that's gonna end up here. He's also going to return to streaming at some point, more information will appear here as that time nears.

Please keep in mind that TuBon hasn't done any development work in the better part of a decade by now, so progress might be slow. Mobile responsive design is coming soon, as well; that will be done before any of the larger projects begin.

FREE DEV TOOL!

In the process of developing this site, TuBon needed to set up a complex CSS animation lasting several minutes and utilizing several single-frame cuts, so per-frame precision was necessary. If you've messed with CSS animations before, you know you can only set keyframe positions in percentages, which makes the math... well, it's simple math, but... tedious, very tedious. He hasn't written documentation yet (and probably won't), but TuBon has created a spreadsheet that allows you to define up to 1000 keyframes in an animation and provides COMPLETED @keyframes stanzas, ready to copy and paste into your stylesheet.

You can find it here in Excel format, or here as a Google Sheet. If using the Google Sheets version, you will need to make a copy for yourself, as the master version will not be editable. Sheets also wraps multi-line cell content in quotes, which you will need to delete after pasting; sorry, nothing I can do about that, it's a Google Docs thing.

Currently in beta, should be pretty straightforward to use, using it to make the "VHS tracking glitch" animations on this very site, so you can see just what it's good for. If you find any errors in the sheet, or have feature requests (no promises but if I think it would be useful, I'll consider adding stuff), public comments are available on the Google Sheets version.

Why do I Care?

If you're asking, you probably don't. That's cool, maybe you will when there's actual content here. Or maybe not. Whatever.

But really, TuBon's a pretty chill guy who produces some pretty hype music. He usually works by himself, but has been known to collaborate with other independent artists and with Suno, from time to time. Once streaming resumes, TuBon will be hosting chat-interactive Suno collaboration events where participating subscribers can shape the production and share in the royalty payments if the song gets published! How cool is that?

Oh, and there will be a music player. It's gonna live here.
